2025
Texas Plant Conservation Conference
Recap
The 2025 Texas Plant Conservation Conference was an incredible three day event held at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center from July 16th – 18th. This year’s theme, “From Rare Plants to Landscapes” highlighted the power and importance of collaboration and interdisciplinary work in plant conservation.
We hosted professionals from across the state who shared exciting work in horticulture, seed banking, rare plant recovery, spatial mapping, ecology, herbaria, and community engagement. We hosted the annual TORCH business meeting and the very first in-person Texas Plant Conservation Alliance meeting.
A huge thank you to Chris Best (USFWS) and Dr. Wesely Knapp (CPC) who delivered the keynote and plenary talks.
We are so grateful for everyone who made it out and made the conference a success. Hope to see y’all in 2027!
